Who never dreamed about visiting a small island in the Caribbean? Hopping from one breathtaking beach to another, feeling the thin white sand between your toes, and swimming in a blue, clear, and warm sea. Sounds idyllic? That’s exactly what Barbados is!
All beaches are extremely beautiful, but the most famous is the Crane Beach. It stuns with its coral formed pink sand and is acclaimed as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
The only downside of Barbados is the prices, which are relatively high for backpackers. For example, we paid $6 for a 1.5ltr bottle of coca-cola at the supermarket. Luckily you can drink water from the tap and enjoy a fresh and affordable meal at Uncle George in Oistins. 😉
